Bye troll, bye nymphs

And so the story continues after a few months. It is still my goal to finish last years attempt at the 24 hour comic. It has proven to be a great start and exercise. Every time I am blocked for a topic to draw, I can just continue on this story.

We're up to page 15 now.

CUT IT OUT!

Yeah, for real...real bad puns. Recently I did a few colourful cut-out-cards. As I am typing this, these are probably on their way to Australia; to a few kids that love dinosaurs, lions and crocodiles obviously. I added some knights and a background castle for good measure. The idea is that they can build a diorama from these. I've also drawn the kids and if they follow the cutting instructions their paper figures can fit on the saddles of the dinosaurs.

Feel free to cut these out yourselves!

Should I do a webcomic?

On March 1st some of the members of the Big Bug Collection (including me) made another attempt at a 24 hour challenge. Once again I made it far to ambitious. I created about 8,5 pages worth of comic in 13 hours. Non of was really ready for the challenge to for the full 24 hours, but each of us individually did improve on their skills.

Once I have finished my other 24-hour comic, I will try to finish this story. And after that? Who knows. I am very much interested to try my hand at creating an actual webcomic. Unfortunately it won't be anytime soon as I still have some graduating to do and some prick stole my cintiq tablet last night.
This does leave me with the time to think about a good story for a comic. I'm not a writer, so any input it welcome! What would you like to see me do?

Bonus level: Star Wars!

Okay, okay, there's an extra update this today. I'm so happy about how this turned out that I can't seem to save it for later. I must show you now:

I experimented some more in the digital coloring process. And the topic? I don't know why Star Wars or why a comic panel. I just felt like making it like this. Maybe I'll do more.

Miauw! Stay tuned for bigger pieces.
